MACAU, May 8, 2007. Crown Macau, the contemporary and luxurious hotel and casino pioneering the six star experience in Macau, has today announced that it will open its doors to the public for the first time at 7.00pm on Saturday 12 May.

To celebrate the opening, the most outstanding talent from around the world has been brought together to create what promises to be Macau's party of the year. Highlights include an invitation only gala party featuring a breathtaking performance by internationally acclaimed live show company DRAGONE Group, a spectacular fireworks show and a chance for the first visitors to win HK$3.8 million in prizes.

The evening's entertainment will formally begin at 6.15pm with an opening ceremony presided over by Mr. Lawrence Ho, Co-chairman and CEO Melco-PBL Entertainment, Mr. James Packer, Co-chairman Melco-PBL Entertainment, and Mr. Greg Hawkins, CEO Crown Macau, after which the doors will be opened to the public.

To celebrate the opening, all guests who visit Crown Macau before 10pm will receive a special Lai-See containing a scratch and win card giving them the chance to share in HK$3.8 million in prizes. The promotion will continue until 9 June, but entry thereafter will be limited to gaming patrons and Crown Club members.

The 1,700 guests attending the invitation only gala party will gather in a purpose built marquee complex adjacent to the property. The party has been created by legendary New York event designer Robert Isabell, whose list of credits includes the most talked about parties from Studio 54, President Clinton's Inauguration and John F. Kennedy Jr's wedding. Hosted by Lawrence Ho and James Packer, this gala party is currently the hottest invitation on the social scene.

The highlight will be a performance created by DRAGONE Group from Belgium who have brought together over 120 uniquely talented artists from around the globe for this original one night only show directed by Luc Petit. The company's Artistic Director Franco Dragone is the creative talent behind some of the most successful shows on the Las Vegas Strip including O and Mystere by Cirque du Soleil, as well as Celine Dion A New Day… and Le Reve produced by his own DRAGONE Group.

Given the enduring success of Franco Dragone's creations, it was Lawrence Ho's vision to have a specially created one-night-only performance by DRAGONE as a prelude to their permanent show at the City of Dreams, Melco-PBL Entertainment's second development in Macau, targeted to open in late 2008.

Crown Macau is also inviting the public to enjoy the DRAGONE show. A giant LED screen will be erected close to Crown Macau, which will give everyone ringside seats at one of the most exceptional spectacles Macau has ever seen. The DRAGONE show will commence at 9.50pm and culminate in a stunning fireworks display created by celebrated pyrotechnic designers Groupe F from France at around 10.30pm.
